I barely even mess with dynamax pokemon.
This is just a fomo event. Dont play or give em your money and theyll change it. Even if it is doable with planning and counters who really wants to do THAT every single battle? Give us more people or make it easier. If you need a challenge that bad then solo it smh.
I like it how it is right now. I was doing raid with the community.. However, some ppl didn't show up during the event. The group left me hanging. No one wanted to step down like hey i caught the last one, I could step out of this one so you could join. Every trainer were looking out for their themselves. So I was grateful random joined.. Without them I wouldn't even get to raid none. As for random joining the raid thats not in your team, it does go both ways. Ask them could your team do the raid and they could do after. It also happened to me with the randoms (now friends) did. One of us couldn't get in on time, we had to keep jumping out until we informed the others if we or they can do it first so we could do it with the teams we wanted. Overall just be kind and mindful my fellow trainers and have fun.

I do agreed with you about it should be at least 6 trainers and not 4 for the legendries. Hopefully Ninantic listens to us. Yes, the private party would be more convenience.

Idk what the big deal is, 4 people, he only needed 2 people to be taken down, I’m lvl 39, with a lvl 1 max attack on all my D-Max and was able to get it easily with 2 people 😊 carry your friends if they can’t get it. My lvl 20 friend has an articuno now 😌😌😌
Dynamax/Gigantimax is stupid. I have no idea why it's still a feature when not even half of GO players participate. Local only, particle limits, can't solo or duo, middle of fucking winter and half of these gyms/pokestops are in front of or at businesses that don't want 20+ people hanging in front of their store with plows and traffic coming in and out. Also, I already have every dynamax pokemon maxed out in its regular version that can't be dynamaxed, so I'm not wasting candy and dust on the same pokemon just so I can stand in front of the local gas station in the freezing cold with no gloves on so I can use the screen while hoping 15 people or more will show up and carry me only to find out those people are in the same predicament. This should have been released as another game, not an expansion

I think more people in lobby is better solution. We had more people available for Gigantamax. 1 lobby (4 people) for tier 1 and2, 2 lobbies for tier 3 and 4 and 3 lobbies for tier 5 and 6 should be minimum. So with 12 people it should be possible to knock out also pokemons that doesn't have 4* weaknesses.

you can also have 4 in a party. they just need to make it that if you are in party play you get put in dynamax group together.

I would. You could use it or criogonal for zapdos. Weak to ice . Have a ground like excadrill for your tank
I gotta say whenever I do these events, I'm upset at the lack of effort people put into their teams.
I think 4 is good. It would be more difficult for some to get 6 people or more. I like your idea of private lobby. on 1 MAX raid we had 4 people but we cannot start it because always 1 person waiting in the lobby for others to join. Not his fault but we cannot start our team.
The raid is easy with 1 maxed out metagross each. one raid we had 6 people so 4 people start the raid and before the end 2 people quit. 2 people finish it. then 4 people can do the next raid. they are not difficult
also i don't understand why it is only available during the day time. there is limit already with the particles. why need to limit the time also.
If you have a solid group go somewhere that isnt downtown lol the benefit of going somewhere busy is to jump in with people if you dont need that go somewhere where theres a decent amount of dynamax without the traffic. Or choose a different time than thee time lol.

I love tvis legendary bird thing. Need start and very doable lost one time and that was becouse we didn't communicate 4 pokémon is enough we triod him almost. I know that therre are åeople that solod amd duoed but we aren't there yet. A challenge is a good thing. Easy all the time gets boring. This thing revived my entire community
If people in a Party could stay together automatically, that would be awesome. We could prepare groups ahead of the battles, even including newer trainers, and talk about strategy more meaningfully if we know who's in our battle group.
Even with the bottlenecks considered, I think the worst part is squading up with absolutel losers. If you have a Dmax Gastly, Scorbunny, and Squirtle, Sit down, you didn't grind enough for this boss fight! There should be a CP minimum between your 3, and if you can't hit 3k between your 3 Pokes, you shouldnt be allowed in.

While I never had problems with spoofers, I do agree that private lobby should be a thing. having 4 people max and expect everyone to be on the right group in a large meet-up sounds like a nightmare.
The 6 player max I'm not sure. In main games Dmax are 4 people in general so It's better to keep it that way. beside, having 6 people will cause the uninformed masses to cry that you need 6 people to do it just like what happened with G-max having 40 people cap. I do agree that it is a problem with an uneven group but even if you increase it to 6 you can still run into the same problem and it will make it a lot more easier when it's supposed to be challenging
I wish the timer wasnt so short or should be a ready up button if u didnt heal and have ur team set before you went in, you would have no time to heal or switch pokemon before the battle started
I'm seeing this a lot about groups. We definitely need private lobbies 1000%.
But honestly… leave out people who don't want to coordinate. This is essentially a "couch" co-op feature, and that's what makes it different from raids and, IMO, more fun. Do people not play other video games? Some modes are "match making," and for some you need to form a purposeful group.
It went down so easy with 4 players who put in a little effort to prepare – why let extra people -who don't want to bother playing the game ahead of time – just ride along and get the reward? Raids already do that.
They should just release it in a timed research if the goal is give everyone a participation trophy.
Anti social gamers can pick up a second, third, forth phone and go to town, or just stick to the solo gameplay mechanics.
EDIT: Last thought: this isn't a good type of activity for big meetups. Way better to form a small group of friends and find your own area to play. Big meetups are great for raid days and Gmax, where it's really a more-the-merrier type of activity.
