All these tycoon/building sim games are gonna benefit so much from joy-con mice mode on the Switch 2

I have had my eye on this since it came out, can anyone speak on how good it is on Switch?

Can’t wait for the physical to release! These games were my childhood.

Just my opinion, I thought it was borderline unplayable without touch controls. Excited to try it out again

I’ve always thought it’s kind of weird how often switch games forget they have a touch screen

i prefer the controller layout for this game. i have yet to try the touch controls so i’ll revise this comment if i’m wrong. there was some thought put into the controls and save for a pointer speed control i was satisfied with playing it sans touch screen. fairly small inputs on a switch lite anyways.

Good start. Now add mouse/keyboard support. Factorio has done it for years.

I really enjoy playing this in handheld mode. My main critique is ~~that the cursor is just slow enough to be annoying, but not enough to deter you from playing~~ now moot! The absolute saving grace is that the X and Y buttons snap to the Park and Construction menus, respectively; it both saves you time from scrolling with the cursor, and it is *so* satisfying when you have a light-bulb idea and need to act on it right away. Path building is still awkward, but maybe with the touch controls that will be improved.

Edit: It seems the new update will address the cursor speed. I can’t wait!

this will be great! i’ve found it hard to control with the controller, and i have a hard time playing this on a tv since i feel like it was made for a computer screen right in front of your face anyway. touch screens on portable mode is perfect

For Anyone whose played it, is this game better or worse than roller coaster tycoon deluxe? Is it worth getting if I already have deluxe?

The port is almost perfect. I do hope they eventually fix the framerate issue when zoomed out.

How exactly does one port RCT to arm considering I was not even written in any programming language, instead in native x86 assembly

  15. Dizman7

Is it actually a good port though? Atari has been in cash grab mode for like the last 10yrs exploiting their older IPs that use to be good long ago

What about RCT 3? Did they also add touch controls or is it still without touch controls?
