No f-ing way. This is amazing.

This game sucked when it came out originally…

Glover is a below average platformer that probably doesn’t hold up at all in 2025, but I’m still gonna be there day one… Nostalgia is a hell of a drug.

I think everyone who lived in the 90s rented this game at least once. And you either love it or absolutely hate it

I remember trying to play this as a kid on the n64 with that janky controller that was all busted! Was impossible to get anything done almost. Had to ask my mom for help.

When I was a kid I thought Glover was Master Hand in super smash bros

Scott’s gonna have to add onto his house.

Scott is gonna go crazy

I don’t think I ever actually completed that first carnival level as a kid. I don’t think this game is very good , but I might drop the 20 bucks anyway because that level was super weird and liminal, and I want to see the rest of the game

Glover is a rough game, but I’m glad there’s some hype around it and I’d really love to see the IP get a new entry. I played it as a kid but was never able to get past the second area. But I played it again in 2022 and did beat the game on that playthrough. A lot about it is finicky and frustrating to play today, but it had a really unique core platforming mechanic that could be amazing in the hands of the right team. I’m hoping for the success of this return, not because Glover is amazing, but because I think it has a ton of potential and I’d love to see it build enough success for someone to actually make something from it.
TheResolutePrime
WHAT?!
Tolkien-Minority
Its an awful game

I’m not paying $20 for a game that I already have on the N64. It’d be convenient to play it on a new system, but I’m gonna wait until it goes on sale for $5.

I still maintain that anyone who complained about the controls just sucks at games. I’ll conceded that they’re *weird* but they’re not *bad*. It’s a game where you bounce a ball and have to platform with it, of course it’s going to react weirdly if you try to dribble on a slope or some shit lmao.

YES!!!! I CANT WAIT!
RebeeMo
Man, that’s a game i haven’t heard of in a *while*.
I’ll keep an eye on Switch reviews and such, see how it goes
uberpirate
I guess I was one of the few weirdos that owned Glover on N64 rather than renting it and I still never finished it because it was way too fucking hard
Yerm_Terragon
Please be careful before purchasing this. This is going to be the same Piko Interactive port that was released on Steam a few years ago, which turned out to be very shoddy. Its too much for me to really summarize, but go look at the Steam reviews before you decide to purchase this

I’d rather have the N64 classic just put on NSO… If they add a lot and improve the game, I’ll change my mind, but that’s not the norm
trey3rd
It was a shitty PC port of an already mediocre game. I can’t imagine they’ll have put in any real effort to make the console release any better. Another example where emulation gets you a superior experience I’d say.
yoshigronk
I got this game for N64 when I was like 5 and sucked at it. My friends, siblings, and I used to play it strictly to laugh at the farting chicken.
