Unlocking more of Amis powers and weapons only opens the game up further. Also it just keeps on going.

I’m playing it now on switch. It def feels a bit dated-game engine wise, it has some clunk to it. But this clunk isn’t junk, it’s got so much charm and personality. The story is pretty awesome and the combat/exploration is pretty stellar.

I actually got emotional when the trailer started. I was watching it on a stream so seeing the streamer and chat’s reaction of WTF IS THIS??? Made me aware of how this title is pretty niche. I’m still super excited.

Tbh I was also surprised Okami is as popular as it is. I always thought it was a niche game since I never saw it advertised and I rarely saw or heard people talking about it. After Okami 2 was announced and watching other people’s reactions it really really made me so happy. Okami will forever be my #1 favorite game and I am so excited to play the sequel.

Just played the first game this year. Love love love it. Lots of Zelda-esque charm and exploration. I thought the paint brush gimmick would get old, but it didn’t.

The trailer is like so basic but it’s perfect and gets the tears going. It’s just beautiful, Amaterasu running and spreading the blossoming trail… It’s so basic but so meaningful
I really, really wish I saw the trailer without knowing what it was live, but I watched it after the fact. It was still amazing but yeah wonder how quick I would’ve figured it out haha

I’m so excited. I couldn’t stop tearing up and farting at the same time. I have like hundreds of hours in the HD version. Fantastic adventure.
