I put together an excel shit cataloguing every game that can be seen on the second floor of the Nintendo Museum in Kyoto; as you may know, guests are not allowed to take pictures or video of this floor of the museum. I pieced together the collection using a number of videos from Nintendo-sponsored Japanese youtubers as well as their own images and videos of the displays.
Each display collects the Nintendo-published games from each console and include the Japan, North American, and PAL versions of each game release if applicable. I did not catalogue all the games on the back of the displays (of which there are apparently a lot more of) because I couldn't find enough sources.
Blue text denotes that I'm not 100% certain on a game's placement, but it's an educated guess that I'm at least somewhat confident in. Red text denotes that there is a spot for this game or version of the game but Nintendo does not currently have it on display (most likely due to rarity because this problem is most prevalent in there older consoles).
I have basically every game with the exception of the Virtual Boy display (I think they just have the entire VB library on display but I have no clue?) and three other games. One is a seemingly a Japan-exclusive game Nintendo publish that I can't find anywhere but I have a picture of and the others are 3DS games that's are also probably Japan only.
This thing took me a couple months to make and don't really know why I did. Nintendo said they didn't want people to take pictures of the second floor so I sort of just took it as a challenge; spite is a great motivator for me.
