So for 3ds games, do we think emulation would still be impossible to run at reasonable speeds based on the specs?
Anyone thinking there’s a chance the Switch 2 will be compatible with multiple carts?

I don’t know why people make a big deal about this. Adding mouse and keyboard controls to any device is extremely easy nowadays (Switch 1 already supports any usb keyboard).
It doesn’t mean it will use a mouse in any interesting way…

Mouse controls are exactly why prime 4 will be a launch day game. The direct Wednesday will have a heavy focus on this feature, with prime 4 being the game used in the showcase.

TIL not everyone knew about mouse feature from the teaser. That was a reveal in the trailer but because it raced around, I think people got confused??? Maybe? I literally didn’t know, that people didn’t know it was showing that it could be used as a mouse.

I’m hoping that Pokemon Home has some improved usability with the mouse controls, though I’m not holding my breath. Really wish I could manage it on my computer.

I think it’s obvious it’s gonna come,but it’s still just gonna be a gimmick. It’s gonna be real uncomfortable even with a accessory to slot it in. And console fps games are pretty playable with aim assist. Not sure it’s gonna do more than give us Nintendo mouse games on online subscription…

I want to know the use case for this. Aside from a gimmick, who’s sitting at a desk playing their switch? I’d imagine it’s a small minority. Would be cool if we got a bunch of RTS ports that make use of it though, but I don’t see it being anything but a niche, seldom used feature.
