As someone who played all the old main series games I actually did NOT like the 8 Bit sprites as I will always prefer modern things… 🙂
It would be nice that they add different sprites for Pokemon that the sprite you choose show up everywhere in the game.
Day 12,429: Still praying for the 8-bit sprites to become a permanent feature in the settings. Hope dwindles as years pass but nostalgia keeps me going.

In a way it makes sense that you’d have to have your pokemon maxed out in order to bump up its IV’s but for casual players it would be quite the challenge
Then again I don’t see the bottle caps being something that will be easily available so I feel it wouldn’t be too hard to end up using them, plus if you have to walk your buddy to get more candy it would incentivize players to get out and about which is what Pokemon go is about at the end of the day
i feel like a nice way to implement the iv increase would be to have like a massive cooldown in between each increase but allow infinite increases. or maybe make it reset buddy level and you need to effectively wait 2 weeks. both ways would make it feel kinda earnt and make the ivs from catches till relevant cus itll take longer to increase low iv mons to hundos

In the future, some of the players will be taking their opportunities to increases the IV to check on appraisal, only they reached there for level 40 to 50 power up your pokemon to have decent IV using the calculate for inventory value. Most of the players might think that increasing the IV will be the best for optimistic pokemon with better appraisal like the top perfect IV good for other players.😊 For an example of Shadow Machamp will be good for its stats only with payback, cross chop, and dynamic punch are both unique attacker for Machamp, only good with PvP.
To hypertrain in the main games, your pokemon needs to be level 100, so it makes sense that in Go you have to max it to the highest level currently in the game, which is 50.
As for the April Fools, in the main games you could never tell the difference between an item or a voltorb that would use explosion in the battle. Old school throwback. Love it.

Hi AK, Can we decrease our IV's just as increasing. That would be cool with max def, max stamina, low attack
you're able to pick up items in Ingress, so they should be able to program something to do similar in Pokemon Go

They only have requirements for testing smaller amount of accounts the requirements will go away if they are sold for coins or in events bundles in shop later on i do think they should just have a level 40 only requirement nothing else so people not waste them when noobs.

I don't think I'm gonna use any bottle caps. I don't do much PVP, and I feel like using a bottle cap to get a perfect might devalue it compared to a perfect that was found as a perfect
98 shiny legendary wow to make 100iv catched plenty.
You should probably be able to buff stats when the Pokémon starts needing XL Candies but that's just my take on it.
I think this will be introduced at Go Fest 2025.
