Why does it matter. You will find out who developed it whilst watching the credits.
We don’t need to know to know who are making their games. Idk why you all csre so much. You all will find out after the credits

But why?

I think this is a non issue being blown out of proportion.
I get the curiosity, I get curious too but some people implying that Nintendo wants to get credit about games they aren’t developing internally is kinda silly. At the end of the day, we will know when the game comes out. They also do interviews with the developers close or around the release period with tons of extra information. The one about Mario and Luigi Brothership was quite good.
I also think comes down to not wanting te audience to judge a game based on the studio previous games alone, which is something that happens. Just look Silent Hill 2.
Questionsey
I mean part of it is so that people don’t bother the f*ck out of them for game details that they cannot divulge

So what? So people can dox the employees who make the in-game art and programming because you disagree with the cost of the games?

I was always under the impression that Nintendo’s internal teams shift employees around constantly, depending on who would be good for specific projects. What good does hearing “oh EPD8 is working on DK Bananza” do when it might only be a portion of the team who worked on Odyssey. And the rest were shuffled in from other teams with experience in different types of games.
The devs are gonna be listed in the credits by name. They’ll get their recognition.
It feels like this is just a milder continuation of the “outrage” we saw after the Switch 2 reveal. Like people noticed that the general populace were no longer reacting strongly enough to the “Mario Kart is too expensive” anger so they need to find something else to get outrage-clicks.

I don’t care as long as the game ends up good. We will know when it launches. I can read reviews and watch videos and decide not to buy it if it doesn’t look good to me.

You can literally find out when the game drops. And considering how much flak ILCA got when it was announced in advance that they were doing the DP remakes, I can’t blame Nintendo for not disclosing it before launch.

More brain drain content for dummies that don’t know what a credits sequence is. But really all people like this want is to be able to say “oh its THAT studio” for clickbait.
