If only US companies would implement this—I’d be guaranteed a Switch 2 from Doordash.

  2. Kind of a tricky situation. On the one hand, stopping scalpers from snatching preorders is good. On the other hand, it’s hard to implement any system that doesn’t punish people with less money.

Gamestops nonsensical bundles are pretty shitty for instance.

Seems like that’s a way to reward scalpers, as they have very likely spent more than the vast majority of people since they buy multiple consoles to resell them.

I feel like this just encourages scalpers?

“Looks like you previously bought 15 PS5s. Would you like to buy 15 Switch 2s?”

Nintendo has now reached the level of the luxury game. They are joining Rolex watches and Hermes bags

  6. ah, they’re adopting the Swiss watch sales process

Gamestop Canada did that with the PS5 anniversary collection

I have no issue with this. Loyal customers to the front.

  9. Seems fair. Same shit happened for Super Famicom, gameboy, etc back in the day if I recall.
