I remember shadow Venusaur used to beat regi, a steel type. Those were the good old days when there was no such thing as grass trailblaze, much less rock trailblaze.
Use him in the ultra league not great

Great team, I tried it and went 4:1. I used regular Venusaur because it can tank some of the common ice coverage moves more comfortably and you can use shields for Drapion

I think shadow Typhlosion is pretty underrated right now. With an energy lead, it can win many match ups against Water types. Oh yeah, and it takes care of Tinkaton.
Hey @HomeSliceHenry. Have you ever considered Umbreon and how good it is in the remix cup? Or in the current Great league meta how lopunny is doing? Well I did say that they are pretty good these days even though they can be very under ratted (mostly lopunny) they are really good this season. I got 12 in a row in the great league with this team. (Lopunny, Serperior, Jellysent) This team has a very strong core on this current meta
My legend team last sesson was venu (non s), s drap, peko. This team is very similar but in a different order. Fun to see you playing it and the things you do the same and differently
