0:00 – Free upgrade + Pattern
Fire is one of those types where I should have a good selection of caked units for but I don’t lmao. Well, it’s not a total dud, as I do have five caked Fire units (and four of them give the full multiplier bonus in this pattern), but with so many good Fire-types throughout the years it’s surprising that I’ve only managed to cake five of them.
0:10 – Support + Strike vs. Dragon-weak Lance: EX-R NC Bianca / EX-R Emma / EX-R Penny
Area 1 Support + Strike only has one possibility, and it’s a Support-heavy one. Incredible how I got a Strike-heavy, then Tech-heavy, then Support-heavy pattern in the past three rallies. Let’s hope that trend breaks next week lol a Sprint-heavy pattern isn’t nearly as fun as those three.
1:40 – Support + Sprint vs. Grass-weak Kukui: EX-R Pal Marley / EX-R Red / EX-R SS Blue
Support + Sprint has surprisingly become one of my most common role combos, so I appreciate patterns like this that have multiple instances of that combo.
3:07 – Support + Tech vs. Bug-weak Siebold: EX-R SS Steven / EX-R Marnie / EX-R Trevor
Ditto for Support + Tech, though it’s not that surprising at all as I believe this is the most common role combo in the game. This pattern has three areas with it though and I get to enjoy the full multiplier bonus for all of them – given that the future areas have clearable stages with my Tech + Support roster.
6:21 – Electric Upgrade purchase
Very much welcome, as a lot of the future areas where I don’t have a Fire-type for the multiplier bonus, I do have an Electric-type for it.
6:33 – Strike + Field vs. Ground-weak Diantha: EX-R Mix Blue / EX-R N / EX-R Variety Hop
And then there are cases where I can bring a unit from both types. Pretty fun.
8:20 – Support + Sprint vs. Fire-weak Grimsley: EX-R Holiday Lillie / EX-R Chase / EX-R NC Bede
Ignore the fact that I mistimed a lot of sings lmao
10:55 – Support + Tech vs. Fighting-weak Glacia: EX-R NC Hop / EX-R A2 Gloria / EX-R Tierno
I think this stage was actually made with NC Hop in mind so yay. (Or maybe it was SC Diantha, but pretty similar niches.)
13:13 – Sprint + Field vs. NC Serena: EX-R Nemona / EX-R Anni 24 Lillie / EX-R Mix Lucas
Was a bit worried about this but Nemona really came in clutch with the frequent flinch procs.
16:58 – Support + Strike vs. Anabel Battle Challenge: EX-R NC Blue / EX-R NC Marnie / EX-R Arc Cynthia
This stage was meant for Summer Tate and Summer Liza, and is the main reason why I’m very thankful I bought that Electric Upgrade as no way was I gonna clear this without it.
19:33 – Support + Tech vs. Bug-weak Karen: EX-R NC Leaf / EX-R SS Silver / EX-R Arven
I wanted to make sure that I kept Leaf as healthy as possible in case I needed her for Area 10.
22:20 – Support + Field vs. Masked Royal: EX-R SS Morty / EX-R Geeta / EX-R Oleana
The Hard stage was also Masked Royal so I guess the game really wanted me to clear this. I luckily didn’t use Oleana in any of the previous Tech + Support stages, and with Geeta also giving a partial bonus I have the two units this stage was built for. SS Morty rounded out the team with his potions and the upgrade + multiplier bonus.
