I’d love nothing more than to share Mario paint with my children, and then smash those gd flies

The beats that would be made on that lil music maker mode would be crazy

That’s what I said about the Wii, Wii U, DS, 3DS and Switch 1. But they still didn’t make a new Mario Paint. I never got to play it on SNES you know. They also didn’t make me a new Battle Clash/Metal Combat.

The mouse has been superseded by the touchscreen. You’d want a stylus.

  5. I would be shocked if something like this wasn’t in the works.

Unless they do something really wacky with it I very much doubt we’re ever going to get a new Mario paint game. MS paint has been around since 1985, a painting tool just isn’t interesting any more as a “game”, so they’d have to do something very different with it in order for it to sell. Maybe bundle it with something else like a Mario maker 3 or something.

There’s no way Nintendo isn’t cooking a Mario Paint like game. We’ll see what happens..

I’d love to see Hey You Pikachu since there’s a mic in the Switch 2 now!

And Mario Golf would’ve been great on Wii. Nintendo doesn’t always grab the obvious hit when it’s in front of them.

for lack of a better term, the “ecological niche” mario paint filled just doesn’t exist anymore – there are so many other (free!) paint programs out there. I could see them bringing Mario Paint to NSO, but a new game? Get real lol. Mario Maker kinda carries the torch of Mario Paint in its stead – maybe they’ll make it a side mode in MM3, but a full dedicated sequel game I don’t think is possible in Modern Year.

Was Mario paint fun in and of itself? Or was it fun because you could paint digitally or on a game console? Because with phones and tablets we are amiss to do some very awesome and detailed painting for those that are interested. Would someone really rather do it on a switch?

Can we at least get SNES Mario Paint on NSO?

These comments are something. OP’s clearly talking about the original Mario Paint being brought to NSO.

    I certainly hope they will.

I think this and Mario Maker 3 would be sick with mouse controls

Guaranteed we’ll get an entry for the franchise that uses the joycon mouse mode
