Tbh, I get it, if you don’t have a Switch 1 library, Switch 2 is a boring launch, but when it comes to backwards compat, it’s the goat. Many switch 1 games massively benefit, especially those with scalable resolution/frame rate settings.

I feel like the minimal “Switch 2” launch game situation is almost intentional considering the backwards compatibility and enhanced performance/upgrade packs for older games. Like did everyone even play all their Switch 1 games that they already bought? Here’s the perfect chance to revisit them. Who is in a rush to pay $80 for a new game just because it’s branded as new? Your back catalog is still “new” to you if you haven’t play it yet.
