This game give me more stress than fun. especially in PVP where lags, unbalanced pokes, and pay to win meta. I got sickness now in my eyes for 6 months because stress building up. Thinking to retire with my friends

The game has been on its downfall since release, the first few months were great, Now you have 0 new players and a fanbase that is dwindling. Whats funny is the player base that left and has come back to check out the game has realized that some aspect of the game in the past has been monetized which introduces new features which we overlook, Until we come back again and find out it too has been monetized lol.

Just part of my life style my family and friends play it. While I'm work I walk a lot so I can hatch eggs and catch pokemon during my breaks. Plus it's how I met my wife I do agree tho as much as I like battling can get pretty tilted during gbl.
Been playing since day 1. Kept playing cause I liked the game. Some time a couple years ago I really felt the decline or passion for the game but honestly now I can't just abandon my game cause I've already invested hundreds of dollars on this game

I like going for walks and hikes with my son, so we play a bit when we go out… for me, this is all about nostalgia, and now I can play with my son.
It’s a great game, absolutely unique. But way too expensive if you want to keep up.
Last time we had free legendary Pokemon after one week breakthrough research. This comes to the end by December 2019.
At that time Pokedaxi still not Pokemon Go Youtuber.
Nowadays we have free legendary Pokemon in different way. By timed monthly free Go Tour Pass but Pokemon Go need to play harder than weekly research breakthrough. You all need to reach at least rank 100 of the free Go Tour Pass.
I see more hoards now than I did when it started, it's just it has to be in the parks that have the best spawns. I counted more then 250 people at the last gigantamax event.
I like wondering around wasilla with my kids find some random ass stuff and taking over gyms and the power spots and the raids are so fun! ❤

For me, personally, I'm playing to expand my Pokemon HOME collection.
I started playing because it was the only way to get Meltan and Melmetal. Then I heard that there were other mythical Pokemon that you can only get during limited event in mainline games like Diancie and now Marshadow and finally heard of community days so I decided to stick around so I don't miss anything.
The game also makes it a bit easier to shiny hunt even outside community days (managed to get a few random shinies) so that's another plus.
found a bunch of like minded folks, really enjoyed leveling up, made some friends, had mini competitions and had so much fun. Duoing a Ttar at level 35! Soloing my first 3*! Dortmund with 12 friends for 2019 go fest.
personal achievements, like all eeveelutions at level 50 (4/8) and a mad idea of getting a shiny from 10cp-100 inclusive (11 21 67 and I've done it!)
When my kids talked my into playing in Sept 2016 I just played when walking my dogs, and now I play it every day and I love it
In 2016 I landed myself in the hospital from chasing a Dragonite.
I had just had open heart surgery a week prior. My wife would push me around town in a wheel chair. We were out for awhile, she went back home down the street. I left my wheel chair and kept walking back and forth in all directions looking for the Dragonite on the nearby. I overdid myself and built up a lump of fluid on my stomach. Had to go right back in.
Been an active PokemonGO player since July 6th, 2016. I was a day late I believe with the gaming App. And honestly once August of 2016 came by, I was debating on dropping the game all together. But once I discovered your PokemonGO Gym battle content, YOU got me hooked into the game and the rest of history for me. Now we are nearly 9 years into the game and so much has happened within the game for us players. But what I am proud the most towards the game is that the game still does what it has done since day 1. It convinces us players to get up and go play. I play it because I used to play the main series games. And then have the game as my excuse to go out for walks and jog as well. That helps hatches eggs, keeps my body in shape and all that stuff. So its all a good thing. I can't see how anyone can complain about that.

It'll be bittersweet leaving this game, lvl 48 and I've loved what this game used to be. They could add so much and people would wanna buy bonuses. They've made items and candy drop rates plummet and now it's all in the passes instead, really analyzing it this year I know I have to step away. Niantic made the coffin and scopely will put the expensive nail in it.

noticed it took you only two balls to catch the articuno and with a regular pokeball too meanwhile it took me over 100 with ultra balls and golden razz's… can we normalize reward encounters being 1st ball catches because this shit was rediculous. especially for a once in a lifetime reward encounter too over 100 balls is just the devs trolling IMO. reward encounters are guaranteed to not flee but apparently in my case they are also guaranteed to make me waste all my reources i have too. idk this one just doesnt sit right with me. and yes it really was over 100 balls i contacted support about it saying 150 and they told me they looked at the back logs and it took 107. anything more than 1 ball should be unacceptable. why are raid shinies 1st ball but reward encounters from a once in a lifetime even not? no way a shiny raid pokemon is more rare than a once in a lifetime event encounter.
