Sad if true, Mario + Rabbids was a surprising good little series! But if what the article says is true about it being a multi-platform pitch, then yeah obviously it makes sense why Nintendo would kill it. Maybe the Day4Night studio (the former Ubisoft Milan staff who formed the bulk of the M+R team) can take the reins?

If it won’t Rayman don’t and Center then shove it. Sucks they all outta jobs though, dag.

Too bad, I really enjoyed the series.

Makes sense. Mario showing up on Xbox and Playstation in a spinoff title no less would only damage the brand.

I’m okay with this. I didn’t love Mario + Rabbids, it felt like such a weird entry. I liked the different gameplay but I feel like the Rabbids, who are already very kooky, paired with the Mario cast who are also goofy forces the Marios to be the straight men in the scenario. It just wasn’t the vibe for me personally. lol

I never understood why they couldn’t just partner with another IP… something like Persona x Rabbids or Palworld x Rabbids. Beep-0 carries the dialogue anyway!

Feel bad for the dev but as an irrational rabbid hater, Good.

That’s a shame. It was a true surprise and both games were delightful. I was hoping for a third entry.

I’m very excited to see a new shooter tactics game from these guys, and don’t really care if Mario is Missing. Obviously Mario will not jump platforms (pun intended) under any circumstances and certainly not to sell a 29 dollar spin off so it seems like they wanted the pitch to be rejected.
We’ve seen what happens when talented developers leave Ubisoft with Expedition 33 so I have high expectations for the new studio.

You have to be pretty dumb to try to convince Nintendo to put their games on other platforms especially with Mario in it

Sparks of hope should have been kept for the Switch 2.

Heads up: ***Kingdom Battle*** now runs at 60 fps on Switch 2. Time for me to finally finish it.
