No release date yet for Prime 4 is weird to me. I’m thinking it’s going to be first week of December or maybe end of November

It’s quite a crazy launch. People are asking for more games but i find it hard to believe.
I do think splatoon spin off being announced randomly at the app was sus though. We shall see.

They pretty much have to. We have Bananza coming very soon, but after that we have nothing for the end of the year.
I don’t expect htem to announce a million games, but at least one big hitter for christmas (maybe it will be MP 4) & tease us for 2026

They kinda have to or else the system is gonna stagnate. Mario Kart World is a system seller, but it’s not better than Mario Kart 8 and isn’t enough to sell systems for the next 6 months. Metroid Prime 4 will help, but again Metroid is a 3rd tier Nintendo series. Outside of Pokemon, which very well may be bad going by Game Freak’s recent track record, they don’t have any big system sellers on the horizon.

Since I never owned a Switch original I’m actually in the nice position of having far too much to play. Still casually playing MK World online and I’m currently making my way through the end game of Odyssey. Plus last week I finished Pokemon Lets go Pikachu. With tons more I still want to try. The only downside right now is DK is going to be such a similar experience to Odyssey that I don’t know if I’ll have the appetite for it next month.
