I noticed on the last turn we had the same amount of coins and then when the bonus stars came down we tied. I thought the game was gonna pick one of us based on who won the most mini games or something.
This was based on their claim of “There can only be one Superstar” lol
But instead the dialogue just says “wow there are two superstars!” and awarded us both the win.
I don’t know how rare this is or not so forgive me if it’s not uncommon.
Regardless I thought I’d share lol

On a side note, do you find the game worth it? Planning to buy and I was wondering if my parents would also be able to play.
I haven’t seen that happen yet, but my family loves that game and the zany way it awards bonus stars at the end means nobody gets frustrated thinking they’re going to lose even if someone is ahead by the end with more stars.
Coming from Super Mario Party, it’s a much, much better game. The game boards are so much better, and it has a great deal more mini games and extra side content to keep you entertained for many hours.
Well at least you might get lucky tonight. Lol
I wonder when they started doing this. I remember getting a tie in one of the GameCube Mario party games ages ago, and that one made us do a dice roll to determine the winner.
We also tied like the second time we played this game in a 4 player setting. Was pretty funny lol.

In that one if you got a tie like this it was decided by a die roll
if this happens in our household, ill be washing the dishes for us. a tie is as good as losing. lol

I’m surprised they allowed for a tie for first since previous games forced a tiebreak via one last dice roll.
Then again, maybe this is for the better due to how unlikely a tie for first will be.
