“Former Nintendo” is always the same people

  2. Its normal for Nintendo to have secrets that they wait for Fall to release for optimal Christmas hype

I feel like these publications can just say it’s Kitt and Krysta, it’s been a few years I think the clicks you get from saying “former Nintendo marketing lead” have dried up by now.

He is right though this is rather odd

  4. He hasn’t worked there in years and if they wanted to continue the way he ran things, he wouldn’t have been a “former” marketing lead.

People put way too much stock into what Kit and Krysta say.

  5. “Random ex-employee has an opinion about something.”

  6. One of the games, most likely MP4, isn’t quite ready and they can’t pin down a release date. As a result, the entire release schedule is up in the air.

    Everything will be ok.

I find it weird that Kit thinks it’s surprising that Nintendo is different from when he left it almost a decade ago now, Like yeah things have changed they were in a much different position when you left them compared to now. They have new leadership and games that are driving them forward and he seems to not get that. Like right he sounds like he is either Grifting hate off of the Switch 2 for clicks, which plenty of people are doing right now, or he’s too narrow minded to see that they are doing things differently and it’s nothing to worry about. I’m sure that they still have contacts inside the company since they were there for so long but for all we know those contacts are not high enough to have any meaningful info for them. It feels like people like them have just been very negative since the Nintendo switch 2 direct in April for one reason or another but this type of behavior makes it very hard to trust what they are saying because again it seems like they are either grifting or too ignorant of the situation

Different people do things differently. There may be some things that are marketing no brainers or marketing don’ts, but not everything will be predictable.

As ex employees Kit and Krista have more insight and better guesses than average people do. But, companies make changes over time and now I’d say they can’t really predict what Nintendo will or won’t do anymore. At least some of the time.

I will never understand why we need articles for every word Kit and Krysta say

Why is Gamesradar obsessed with these people? I swear they make at least 1 article a week about them about any little thing they say. It’s always this site.

  11. Hmmm…

    * Former Nintendo marketer
    * Something blatantly wrong (Nintendo does release announcements pretty shortly in advance these days. Switch 2 only having a 2 month difference)
    * Blatantly stated to stir unnecessary drama.

Let me guess, Kit n Krysta again?

EDIT: annndddd yep of course it’s them lmao. It’d really be good to ban them as a source. They keep saying stuff that’s verifiably wrong despite their position and seem to only be relevant when they want to stir nontroversies.

Can’t be entertaining on their own I guess and need the bait clicks.

You can still give insight no matter how many yeara ago you worked there

I used to work in a supermarket 20 years ago and can confidently say current practices are not normal

Back then we would dispose of damaged stock

    Now they sell damaged stock

We can conclude from that that gamesradar should make an article no matter how irrelevant it is

My uncle works at Nintendo and has confirmed it is coming out this year

I mean it’s not really up to Nintendo for the date for Elden Ring.
