I just noticed while looking his kit again. Arc Ethan doesn't have any Additional Effects on his sync. Every other Multi Unit has an additional effect to their Sync. Even Silver gets damage guard and Steven gets 2 effects (Soften up and Syncro Healing). But Ethan gets none.
Hopefully this is an oversight and they give him one on his release or in future update.
Edit : Went through his kit again. His sync doesnt have any additional effects. But it is All Opponents not Single Target. So that is the additional effect. So he has Multi + Field + Strike EX effects for his sync.
