For the Charcadet evolution requirement: You can fight gym defenders of psychic or ghost type too. It can be easier since you can fight them multiple times before they get knocked out.

Has anyone else with the Jirachi Masterwork Research had an issue today where instead of being the 20th consecutive day of getting a heart with your buddy to complete the research criteria, it instead reset to day 1?
Immediately reported it to the Help Chat. And waiting for a reply.
I walked a route with it, took a snapshot and walked four kilometres. And it said that it was my 19th heart yesterday. What’s going on?
I’ve taken screenshots of the research criteria back at day one, and another screenshot of the journal yesterday, showing that a route was completed (earning the 19th heart) and now waiting a response.
