I am still a relatively new player (started January 2025) and as a casual, I only just got my first GMax (Lapras) this weekend. These videos really help me to use my limited resources in the best possible way. For me this video translates into:
Blissey is an easy pick for almost any boss. (Mine is Lvl40, 15/14/15 IV and Lvl 3 Max Spirit, so after much grinding it's a proper healer-tank. :-))
Offensively I will run my trusted DMax Gengar (Lvl40, 13 att IV, Lvl3 Max Phantasm)
As a third for Latios, it looks like Metagross with Fury Cutter is resisting all possible attacks (psychic attack are resisted double), charges the meter quickly with super effective moves and even has a Max Flutterby as an offensive option if you don't have better DPS available. Nice all-rounder as backup, in case "Blissey into Gengar" fails. Or should I be leading with this (I only have the level 2 offensive Max move unlocked)?
For Latias, I wonder if Excadrill might be a viable tank option, to add double resistance to Electric attacks (while sacrificing one level of Psychic resistance compared to Metagross). I does however lack the offensive touch, as both Mud-Slap and Metal Claw will do only neutral damage… i guess Metagross is still superior here. Any thoughts?

Either that or potentially a dmax charizard can learn dragon breath for the games only, so far, dragon dynamax attack.

I always power up to level 40 instead of level 40 because then you start needing to use XL candy

I, at level 34, used d max Gengar with two tanks(Metagross and excadrill) while being carried by level 40s and 50s
I got back to back shiny for both
