  1. Still won’t believe it. When I have it on my Switch, installed and running, then and only then I will believe!

The absolute whiplash from ‘will this game ever come out’ to ‘it’s coming out in two weeks’ is insane.Ā

Gonna be honest, I’m not that excited for this with everything that’s coming out soon. I’m sure when I eventually get around to playing this I’ll be more excited.

Spending ages on one of the most-anticipated video games of the past decade and saying little to nothing about it in that time, only to just casually go “aight here it is it drops in two weeks bye” is one of the biggest and funniest power moves in history.

  5. I’m someone who wanted to love Hollow Knight. I loved the art, the music, the vibe, and the gameplay loop, but I couldn’t deal with the long walks back to the bosses every time I died in ten seconds.

Is there any chance this game will be for me?

  6. I don’t care about this game but I’ll be very happy to not have to read speculation about it before every single gaming event in the future

Damn, Necrosoft’s Demonschool, another game that has taken years to come out, is releasing September 3rd. What a gut punch that must be for them. They’re not exactly in the same genre, but there is definitely an overlap of players

    What even is this timeline….

You have poe2 dropping crazy amounts of new content end of August.

    Then you have silksong dropping

Then you have borderlands 4 dropping.

I’m not trying to be selfish here, but silksong dropping in two weeks sends me into a spiral of anxiety driven overcommitment.

I don’t have a Switch 2 yet. So if I buy the Switch 1 version now, what happens when I eventually get a Switch 2?
I feel like I’m in a pickle here because I both want the game right away and I also want to make sure I have the best version possible to play on Switch 2 when I eventually get one later this fall.

Obviously the Switch 2 can run the Switch 1 version of the game, but will that ultimately be a “lesser” experience compared to running the native Switch 2 version? Will the Switch 1 version still run at 120hz when played on a Switch 2 or would I need to buy the Switch 2 version to ensure that? Situations like this is why I really liked Xbox’s “Smart Delivery” feature where you just bought the game once and could always download the optimal version on to each piece of hardware you own.

It’s gonna be nice to not have to see ā€œHollow Knight Silksong when?ā€ In the comments of every direct now.

I will be overseas in Europe on the 4th – silksong would be a dream to have for my long return flight home to the US. Does anyone know if there are any issues I should keep in mind if purchasing and downloading a game in a region different than my own? Never done that before.

  14. Metroidman

Might be time to get around to finishing hollow knight

  15. CelticSith

I can finally put my clown makeup away, yes!

When you boot up Silksong and then you hear trumpets in the distance…

  17. Dreyfus2006

Yo that’s so soon! Too soon to procure a Switch 2 for it. I’ll have to play it on the Switch. I hope it is optimized as well as Hollow Knight!

  18. comengetitrmm

Is there an actual switch 2 version or just the same as switch 1?

  19. Planning to buy the game but have no idea on the previous game. Will it still be worth it?

  20. Prestigious_Deer964

Does anyone have any idea how much it will cost? Price?
