I just hope those of us who did the 40-50 grind and had to do all those crazy tasks get some compensation in the 70-80 grind… I do not want to have to do 50 more lucky trades (as an example of a task that was downright awful).

So what happens if you are at about to hit level 41 to 50
They should've kept the tasks from level 41-50 and made more tasks accordingly for level 51-80! That way older players don't get as bored and the grind for xp wouldn't be as brain numbing hahaha but I am super hyped that it's level 80 and not just level 60! Let's GooOOoOoO 🥰
Ima be honest man I am level 48 and I never thought they’d remove the jacket and I guess you’re not getting the pose and mew two encounter either?
I was excited to get the jacket and now I can’t unless they extend it till the New Year or something.
That’s so lame and out of left field. I don’t remember them ever removing an item from the game like that.
I just hit Level 50 on the weekend during the Max Finale. Thought I'd made it and could just chill and carry on coasting, but now there's another mountain to climb to get to Level 80 😮
Feels so stupid to change all of 40 to 50… some extreme tasks adjust and offer all real level xx a badge for that task. While in those tasks and levels what a waste. So much wasted app time… I believe nothing they say. More rewarding 😂

The problem is they never give us enough info to know how things will play out. Maybe they will actually limit how far you can lvl a Pokemon because right now a lvl40 player can have better mons than a 50. Really, this game sucks in so many ways with all the shit they won't fix, laughable compensations, absolutely disgusting money grabs now.. I don't even know why we play.
I'm largely indifferent on this all as well. But I also do think the level increase is pointless. Since we can keep logging extra XP even at level cap, it means content creators are going to basically jump to the new cap immediately. And players like myself who are still lv40, will still have a long grind ahead of them.
In other words, for content creators and hardcore players, this new level cap is only a month of extra playing. For casual or new players, it's just moving the goal post.
Case in point, increasing the level cap to 80 is actually helping no one.
I may have time to do it, I'm not too sure, because I'm a permanent part time package handler at fedex and I work 5 days a week, but I don't work weekends
About the jacket looking the way it does for males try lowering muscle aswell it doesn't look like that

I been lvl 48 my whole life 😅 I got 180milxp only needed 25mil with the stinking 50 lucky trades. I have a full list of lucky friends too just no way to trade 😢

Level 80 tasks requirements,
1) Catch 10 non shiny legendary galarian birds by using Standard, Great or Ultra ball.
2) Win 10 times Tera Raid. (Even though Tera Raid not debut in Pokemon Go but the task is here)
3) Defeat 30 times, Team Magma, Team Aqua and Team Galactic.
4) Catch an Arceus.

Finally, I get rid off the "50 Lucky Trades" requirement wall. I'm a solo player, I hate trading, I hate lucky Pokemon also. And I'm glad that the Pokemon max level 50 remains, or else we needed like 60K XL Candy to power them up to level 80. Phew..
Lvl 48 but far from getting enough platinum medals to get to 49.

The xp is a overwhelming for this game. I understand people have been playing since 2016. Obviously those people should be 50. But the game does so many things to bring in new players and you have 50 players with a billion of xp just waiting for the next level drop. They should have just cut it off at 50 and converted it to start dust some how. Or just cut it off. There has to be a way for a better player or someone that takes grinding serious to catch up

I really enjoyed the level challenges so I'm looking forward to those again. My favorite part is keeping the pokemons at level 50 with this new change

To many moaning! Just add a ton of friends and grind that exp! You have like 50ish days, thats alot of ultra friends!

I think the level up tasks were cool. Kind of a disservice to get rid of it but whatever I enjoyed it a lot. Annoying a little bit but still it was rewarding.

There no way that I am going to get 35 platinum medal before Oct 15😅 it probably be better off if they remove the level up challenge at this point since this is about XP and I am already worry about XP to level up and I am pretty burnt out since grinding last weekend plus I really want the lvl50 jacket😢
It's been over 9 years. I'm looking forward to it. I made level 50 during Stufful community day years ago and have been bored. Yay finally and I hope they make the climb hard
I think it’s good that they are making the jacket and stuff legacy. I mean I guess I’m only saying that because I already have it, but I feel like that’s our small little reward and flex for grinding and getting it done a long time ago.
