I got my Switch 2 and this game at launch and I’ve been playing it off and on because Donkey Kong Bananza and Mario Kart World were bigger priorities to play for me. I always had the intent to to 100% this game but oh my goodness I never realized it would be so tough. As soon as I discovered there were secret third medals for the mini games I knew I was in for a wild ride. A lot of the third medals were easy but some were much much harder than others such as the scraping mini game, the mouse target mini game, and especially the second and third rumble mini games. I spent 5 HOURS on the third rumble mini game alone. Why do you have to get within 1?! It honestly just feels like luck but after watching some YouTube videos I figured out a strategy and got the medal. I completed that a few weeks ago and all I had to do was get the medals for everything that requires a 4k display. Yes you can use the secret button code to skip them but it doesn’t give the third medals and it doesn’t count toward your area completion percentage on the far right tab. I just moved out to college and I now have a 4k monitor so I got to complete the tech demos and minigames for those. Now I can officially say I’ve 100% Welcome Tour. I can’t recommend anyone not to do this enough. The rumble minigames alone makes this not worth it at all lol.
