“Overall, Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion is a massive, fast-paced open-world mecha action game that plays extremely well.”
Awesome to hear. The first one was an okay experience.

I really liked the demo! The game has a solid story and characters (so far). Hope the story continues to have the same quality throughout.

Was hoping this would be good

Good to hear, and a rare 3rd party Switch 2 physical too if you need that extra push to grab it

I’m just disappointed they don’t have huge mechas anymore, there are only few games where we have that as the core mechanic, that made the first game special (as flawed as it was). With that and the voice acting seemingly being atrocious, I don’t think I’m getting this game anytime soon.

an actual switch 2 game? well i’ll be damned 😛

Not a mech game. It’s an exosuits game with a brief ultimate skill that lets you temporarily have a mech as a power up. Not a mech game like the first was.

I played the demo with a friend and was extremely disappointed. The combat just didn’t feel good, and the game didn’t feel like a mech game at all. I’ll usually play anything co-op but we both decided to bounce off of this one. If you’re thinking about getting is, I really do recommend trying the demo first, since you’re progress carries over.
