This game kicks ass so I’m really glad this port was done well and I hope it gives the game a second life

  2. I’ll admit it, I’ll buy it still. When it’s discounted later.

I’m glad it’s good, I might pick it up to play over Christmas holidays

Maybe it’ll find its audience on Switch

This is great to see. I hope it does well enough to get a port of the Respawn Jedi games.

This is the first Switch 2 game to get LFC working in VRR below 30fps (outside of the Welcome Tour VRR demo). The port most people thought would be the worst yet ended up being one with full RT effects, comparable or better performance to Series S, and utilizing hardware features no dev has been able to thus far. Absolutely wild that this port, of all ports, ends up so good and so close to the console’s launch.

Is this the first Switch 2 game to use Ray Tracing?

I thought I noticed some non-screen space & non-cube map reflections in some of the launch footage but I didn’t want to say for sure incase it was just really good cube mapping or something.

That’s very high praise coming from DF.

So not the disaster they (and others) earlier reported? Glad to have cleared that up.

I have this on my steam wishlist, but I’m going to get it for Switch 2 when it’s discounted. I love how they fit it in 20GB.

But everyone on Reddit said it’s a shitty port

No demo avail so we can see the pretty visuals?

Is this the most impressive Nintendo port of all time? Raytracing, DLSS, huge draw distance, next gen geometry, huge worlds to explore, looks super close to the other consoles, current gen only title not released on PS4, and runs at a solid framerate. Like what, that is crazy.

  14. I also find it funny that it’s discounted as compared to other consoles.

It’s $70 for the base game on PS5, $100 for the Gold edition. Switch 2 version is the Gold edition with the season pass for $60.

    No Switch Tax.
