Tried posting this on the sub for the switch 2, but I don’t know how much karma they require. I’ve commented a ton and yet I still can’t post anything there.
The pro controller two is an amazing controller. It feels great. The only issue it has is it has almost unusable levels of snapback. I am tapping down on the stick to zoom out on my map and two out of three times snap back causes it to zoom right back in

Why are you tapping on your stick for zooming out?
What happens if you use the controller the intended way, aka holding the stick to zoom out instead of quickly tapping? It might be an actual feature of the game to stop unwanted zooming
Are you flicking the stick and not leaving your thumb on it? The way i hold the controller and move the sticks, my thumb doesn’t lift off the stick unless I’m using the Dpad. I’ve not experienced snap back.
Oof that is a lot. Is it like that even after calibration? I can think of a few games that would be a problem for
BOTW is a particularly rough example in my experience – The dead zone configuration for the sticks is somewhere between tiny and nonexistent!
The PC2 does suffer from some snap back, but my PC1 would also cause noticeable snap back issues in BOTW.
I hate to be the person that says this, but… you’re doing it wrong.
It’s a player problem, not a controller problem.
This is 100% a skill issue.
I just started TotK on my S2 last night and noticed pretty bad snapback while using my pro controller 2 when selecting weapons/shields/held items from the quick menu. That is a place where I sometimes quickly tap the analog stick to the side if the item I want is just one or two slots away. It seems to always revert back to the item I’m trying to move away from.
I haven’t experienced any snapback on the map though.
I’m pretty annoyed by the dismissive comments on here from people who don’t understand snapback issues. “Using it wrong”. Lol. Pro Smash players would be rolling over using this controller. Some games/actions absolutely do encourage immediately letting go of the stick in order to be quick and you want that to be accurate. To snapback this much on a premium controller is disappointing.
