As a visual learner, I’m obsessed with whiteboards – and what works best for me is building a visual memory palaces. I do these for my German exam preparation, for books that I read, for explaining something to my colleagues, etc.
One day I had an idea: instead of “boring” notes and mindmaps, I made a little tool that organizes them into game-like 2D worlds. Each world (usually – a single topic) has islands populated with objects and characters. They help me recall the idea from the notes by leveraging my visual memory.
A few of those worlds are even populated with these little guys, which makes studying even more fun!
