“Starting this month, paid add-on content for the Nintendo Switch 2 software “Donkey Kong Bananza, ” “DK Island & Emerald Rush,” will be holding regular in-game events.
The first event , “Chip Fever,” will run for one week from 5:00 PM on Tuesday, October 28th to 4:59 PM on Tuesday, November 4th . During the event, you can play a special Emerald Rush on a designated stage with the following random elements fixed.
Depending on your score in Emerald Rush, you can get character figures that are only available at this event . The figures you can get this time are Kong Bananza and Enguard, familiar characters from the “Super Donkey Kong” series.”
So yeah literally dlc exclusive limited time events in a single player game.

I haven’t played the dlc. So there is figures you can collect ? Like you can see them in the menu like collectibles or you can do more with them?
