I scouted for Perrin but included it in another video (that I’ve been too lazy to edit and post). Perrin is a new character from Scarlet and Violet that I really wanted to scout for because I just like how she looks and her story. I’m surprised that she came out this early, but I guess they have been releasing more and more Paldean and Hisuan characters. I didn’t realize it until the story, but they really wanted to show how Adaman and Perrin are related, which makes sense with their eye shape and hair color. While I’m a huge Perrin fan, I don’t really like how she looks in Pokemon Masters. I think she eyes are too close to each other, which makes her look very off when looking head on. I think if her eyes were a bit smaller and a bit further away from each other, I would give her an S+ in terms of looks.
Power-wise, Perrin is surprisingly quite powerful. She gets full buffs after Stealth Rocks, then she can use two powerful Buddy Moves that do a ton of damage, making her excellent in short battles like Champion Stadium. She became my best rock damage dealer, which I wasn’t expecting because she is an EX Pokefair. Perhaps the EX Pokefairs are going to be stringer than normal Pokefairs, but weaker than Master Fairs. Even then, she is way better than the old Master Fairs, so Perrin is a great example of powercreep. I love her to death, but she seems a little bit overtuned.
Final note, I always considered Perrin being quite young because in the Teal Mask DLC (spoiler), she is still trying to find her stride. But when I was doing missions, I found out that one of her Theme Skills is Grown Woman. This is a great thing, because I can say things like she is hot without looking sus. But apparently she is a women and is grouped with people like Lusamine and Melony, who kinds are young adults (Lillie might actually lean towards child but ain’t no way Gordie is a child). But Flannery and Cheryl are also considered Grown Women, so who knows how old these people are.
