This event and the December community day will be prime hunting hours for me. I still need at least 1 100% Eevee for all Eeveelutions at 100% IV. Vaporeon is still missing, that's why I say at least 1. Plus once I finished that, I also want another one for Eevee itself at 100%

I hate the way they do this. In the beginning max battles were difficult. Now my group is 8 manning gmax. Really we can do it in 4 we just have 5 friends. They should start doing debuts by doing a gmax eevee weekend. With him also in dmax battles.
Pro tip if you want to use any eevee evolution for attacking you only need max attack because you switch to them for attacking.
if you want them for tanking you want defense/hp.
it will have a showcase on the weekend for xl and xxl eevee so keep them to win showcases as well.
If you save your good dmax eevee for the december com day then you get legacy moves and easier time doing the evolution on them.
I've been playing since day 1 and have used the naming trick a few times. It does reset, I'm just not sure when.
dmax eevee can evolve but the gmax versions cannot evolve so this is better than the gmax version.
you can solo this event even with a new account so can do it in your local area so its one of the better events since don't need other players help only the dmax version of eevee can evolve so this is better than gmax eevee.

For those that want the comm day moves on these, just wait till the Comm Day Recap, the buddy requirement is lower and you can get the legacy moves
I still don't think using the healing move in dynamax battles is ever useful. Many YTbers say some people should use it when you have most people attacking, but still, if you don't win the battle within 6 minutes, it becomes impossible.
Yeah I don't have to worry about the candy gor Eevee unless 2000+ candy is too less.❤😂
The name trick has been broken for a while. Had a shiny eevee I wanted to evolve to Slyveon and had to buddy it up. And no I didnt do the name trick for her before. Many people are having same issue

I am still amazed on how they managed to come up with such a disaster of a mechanic for the D- and G-Max battles. There is very, very little incentive for players to train up new Pokemon for use in these battles because you just need your best three, period. And for that, you need Zacian, Zamazenta or Blissey, Excadrill, and your choice of G-Max attacker. If a new one comes out, it needs to surpass those that are out yet, which hard
Remember, if youre not in a rush to evolve Eevee into Espeon, Umbreon or Sylveon.. then i would wait for the "December Community Day" 6th and 7th Dec.. where we get the eevee bonus for a limited time.
Evolve Eevee into Espeon or Umbreon after exploring 1 km with Eevee as your buddy.
Evolve Eevee into Sylveon after earning seven hearts with Eevee as your buddy.
They will also learn their featured attacks if evolved during that event.
Im personally going to wait for the Sylveon one xD

The best part about this is that it can easily be skipped and miss nothing important.
Any clue on the shiny rate?
its 400 instead of 250 as anticipated, the shiny odds arnt changed, and you can get particles twice as fast but the limit you can get will be normal, so your still doing the same amount of battles, unless they add challenges to reward points
4 days of just eevee with 1/500~ shiny rates sounds like my personal hell (and i love eevee)
this is great if your new and have no dynamax at all but if your like me and have most gigantamax and every dynamax legendary, this is 4 days where you dont even need the game installed
The nickname method is currently not working. It shows an error sign for all players even when you met requirements and haven't used the trick on the pokémon yet.

why rock smash on the urshifu instead of counter?
a maxed out urshifu can not just solo, but do it without having to go into dynamax by spamming counter (1second, 3 energy/turn), filling up its Close combat charged attack (45 energy i.e 15 turns) and landing a Close Combat for the KO before the meter fills up (100 energy)..
this would take just over a minute per max Eevee, and in areas with a lot of power spots, it can mean up to 50 eevees per hour
Finally we can get an electric type that isnt 4 star/5 star/ G-max (jolteon)
