My experiment here involves my belief in characters choosing the players.
Lets see if Stygian N comes to me again, as I wanted to get N but ended up with a better version of him.
I'm prepared to delete this account and start over, to see if I can draw a better group of characters that suits me.
Let me know guys if you want me to record your favourite trainer, if I randomly get them. I may reset the account a few times until I'm satisfied. I'm not too bothered about my process in this game at the moment, I'm experimenting with gatcha pulls, and seeing how long it will take to get a good starter cast from pulls using the free gems.
Gatcha rates in these games are already a pain in the ass. But what if it's not only odds but…. there's a connection between a fictional video game character and the players? As strange and unscientific as it is. But, it's based on spiritual beliefs, on the idea that there are some things that quite literally have a mind of their own. Like with the beliefs that God created life on Earth, since humans created these gaming characters, what if they do have some independent knowledge? It's a stupid and crazy thought, but at least it's something to distract us from boring reality.
What I'm doing here is beyond insane, but I am a mad scientist.
