I have watched all gens till sun and moon, and I must say each and every gen is very unique. Gen 1 is the classic, Gen 3 with the new art style, visually stunning Gen 6 and much more. I know Kalos (Gen 6) is a crowd fav, but I liked Gen4. It had some crazy battles (remember tobias), ash catching paul's abandoned chimchar which he used to beat him, and cynthia obviously.
