Been playing this a ton on my steam deck lately, never played stardew valley before now I never got very far any time I tried to play it but I have actually managed to get some progress going, I’m playing it completely blind so lol. It’s been fun, needed something to play along side Animal Crossing New Horizon

Once the switch 2 update is installed do you need the original cartridge in to play?
I tried playing years ago and was turned off by the limitations of my daily activities and how forced I was to stick to a strict schedule. Is it better now? I heard they added things to elevate those problems.

Does anyone know if you can do split screen online? Hoping to play online with more than 1 player locally

Does it fix the crash issues? Me and my partner play split screen multiplayer and it crashes after 2 hours generally. The other comment mentioning what all the changes are didn’t mention any crash fixes 😢

It’s not showing up in the online shop for me either (Germany), but when I updated via the app, it downloaded data, but it doesn’t say “Switch 2 version” anywhere.

So, it’s a free update patch right? Meaning I can safely buy S1 physical copy and get on with it if I wanted to give it a shot?
I’m aware these are slightly different games, but if you were to choose between Stardew Valley, Animal Crossing and the new Rune Factory game which would it be?

Yeah, just downloaded the update and now my game is unplayable. For some reason, ZR is trying to act like A, and the right stick can’t decide between being a mouse or the right scroll button. I hope this is fixed quickly, or I’ve basically ruined the ability to play since you apparently can’t go back to the switch 1 version once you’ve upgraded.
