I love bt 91
Thanx Brethren !! I’ll be using this tech from now on saving so much time 🥅 BIG W 👏 appreciate you hope you and the family had a Gr8 Holiday 🎄 🫡
Instead of just letting go of the berry to throw the catch, it’s easier to just swipe up when you let go of the berry with your finger instead of just letting go because it doesn’t always initiate the fast catch an animation. Swiping up works 100% of the time.
Why you covering really old mechanics suddenly? Thought you'd show the AR quick catch at least. Theres also an art to this, my friend can do it fast enough to hit great/excellent every time on the first throw but if i curve the ball for too long it goes into the nice circle. Any tip for that?
The reason why you press the top left twice. Once to exit the berry or pokeball selection screen, then another press to run from the encounter therefor completing the fast catch.
You posted this like a few weeks ago…. 😀
I started in 2016 and played for about 2 years, took 4 years off. When I returned, I heard about this and didn't understand many of the explanations. Wasn't until I saw Nick explain, I got it and been using it ever since. I can now get about 1200 in a day, when I used to only get that in a week.
I don’t have proof that the fast catch method is what caused it, but I was doing that for a good while, but I got a warning when I opened the app to play, saying I was basically cheating/spoofing when I have not done such thing ever. The warning even told me that it could possibly lead to my account being terminated. I still do it from time to time though.
Can you create a video on how to manage storage of Pokemon and of items specially and how to increase the storage of bagpack for f2p players and earn poke coins more and more
I remember it used to be faster with the AR setting but niantic changed it and now it's a pain to use AR + this method
a lot of the time I just catch normally, but during community days and spotlight hours I tend to use it since it makes it easier to deal with the often overwhelming amount of mons that end up on the map
Great information, and I appreciate the effort put into these suggestions. However, as a person with physical disabilities, many of these strategies aren’t realistic or accessible for me.
When playing Pokémon GO, I can’t safely do multiple things at once. If I’m pushing my wheelchair, my full attention needs to be on moving and avoiding obstacles to prevent accidents. That means I can’t actively catch Pokémon at the same time. Even tools like PokéStop++ don’t fully solve this, because they still require movement between stops, which takes focus and time.
On the other hand, if I stop to focus on Pokémon GO—catching, spinning, managing encounters—I’m no longer able to move to other PokéStops or locations. I have to choose one or the other. The common advice to “just fast catch while moving” doesn’t work for me, because it assumes a level of mobility, dexterity, and divided attention that I simply don’t have.
Accessibility isn’t about playing slower or less efficiently—it’s about safety and equal opportunity. Many standard strategies are built around able-bodied movement and multitasking, which unintentionally excludes players like me. That’s why broader accessibility options and alternative playstyles are so important for truly inclusive gameplay.
😂😂 yes the quick catch does help a lot.. But when u have a bot spinning stops for u, well that is where the difference comes in.. Just saying..
Pokemon go youtubers are milking old tips and tricks to the sky.
I have seen like 4 vids: tips for more star dust
Tip one: catch pokemons,
Tip two: hatch eggs
Tip three: use star piece
Since when did we no longer have to "drag" the berry button? That's how I learned it way back but it's nice to know now you only have to hold down on the berry icon to achieve the fast catch.
Its soo good my catches increased by 5 times hahaha normally 200 now it is 1000 a day ❤
Brandons running out of ideas.. I think everyones known this trick for years.😎😎
i have been fast catching since erlier this year and it has helped me i caught around 1000 pokemon or more per week depending on spawn rates
i got so used to doing fast catches that i now miss more when i dont
Niantic, please fix this 😂
What was going on at 2:16 , using a Pokémon to do more spawns, how does that work ?
Been using this method for awhile now on spotlight hours and community days as Brandon said. Good video!
P.S. I got my BT91 merch for my birthday, sweatshirt and T shirt 😄
I've been wondering about this, thanks man
For some reason when I do this with a spawned kecleon or a Smeagle, they would sometimes disappear showing that I caught it, but then it will respawn again. When you click on it, it disappears, and then reappear again.
Just me?
I learned this in 2018 😂😂😂😂
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
What is this? Content from 2017?!
Considering the waves of new players, good job B!
Quick catch is basically mandatory for grinding XL candy and other resources during community days or other boosted spawn events. Quick catch and Go Plus + to auto-spin Pokestops is a golden combination.
I really hope that the Pokemon company makes this more prominant to everyone. For example allowing people to run from the animation regardless if the berry/ball icon was holded down.
Brandon you rly saved me. I have played for 2 years when pokemon go started, i had 4 years off and again. I was hearing a lot about this technique but could not understand how to use it. So i asked you a month ago in one of your live stream's. Thank you very much!!
