This is a very special drawing. When me and my friend decided to start doing Gijinkas u/Separate-Bag2415 was the first person that requested a piece and it was a team. It was a mix of different feelings. I was super hyped to make our first commission, but at the same time a bit overwhelmed since they had to be interacting. I have a lot of experience making character design, but had way less experience making big groups interacting.

I got really lucky that The Second was really patient and always gave awesome insights along the process.

This is a pokemon team that we transformed into Gijinkas. They were made in 3 different themes: Medieval Fantasy, Wasteland and Ancient Japan. The interactions were based on personalities. Here are the descriptions I received:

1. Genderless Metagross:

• Name: Cerebronis 
• Theme: Medieval Fantasy
• Personality: Patient, intelligent, respectful, was formed by the fusion of two metang who in turn were both formed by the fusion of two Beldum, grew up in the lap of luxury alongside Argent.

1. Female Shiny Staraptor
   • Name: Argent
   • Theme: Medieval Fantasy
   • Personality: Prideful, fierce, loyal, wants to be the best and grew up in the lap of luxury alongside Cerebronis
2. Female Toxtricity
   • Name: Octavia
   • Theme: Wasteland
   • Personality: High-energy, chaotic, anarchist, she loves music and messing with people. Stands up for those being bullied or oppressed
3. Male Gallade
   • Name: Lumeron
   • Theme: Medieval Fantasy
   • Personality: Knightly, composed, diligent, trains a lot and has fallen for Octavia since he was saved as a Kirlia by her
4. Male Chandelure
   • Name: Necrion
   • Theme: Ancient Japan
   • Personality: Quiet, focused, cunning, lived in an abandoned mansion feeling lonely before being caught and becoming friends with the party
5. Male Basculegion
   • Name: Riptide
   • Theme: Wasteland
   • Personality: Wrathful, scarred, passionate, lost it's family and evolved wreaking vengeance upon anybody in his path until bested and found a new family in his party
6. Female Bloodmoon Ursaluna
   • Name: Artemis
   • Theme: Ancient Japan
   • Personality: Serene, wise, stubborn, survived by hunting before being found and becoming part of the family and enjoying a rich livelihood.
7. Female Roaring Moon
   • Name: Kravaxi
   • Theme: Wasteland
   • Personality: Ferocious, temperamental, powerful, was the rival of Koraidon in the past but kept losing until caught and trained eventually surpassing Koraidon
8. Genderless Regigigas
   • Name: Colossus
   • Theme: Ancient Japan
   • Personality: Stoic, strong presence, curious, frozen in time before being released and showed the wonders of the world and battling

I want to thank everyone that supported our work this year. We did the first 12 pokemon in one month and will get back to them next month with the Beedril evolution line.

Me and Rafa are super grateful for everyone that sent messages and requested for commissions, we are super hyped to keep making gijinkas and bring different themes. The community is fantastic and we had a lot of fun.
