I grinded grookey com day and got a few backgrounds and shiny all IVs are trash tho

Make sure to take your 5 snapshots of your buddy during the event helps with the snapshot medal if you need it and you get bonus candy for catching pokemon so you can catch pokemon you saved in your research stack or do raids for more candy you have until 5pm sunday
at 8pm sunday the current ends and the showcases end as well no showcases for grookey on the weekend which was weird maybe on monday we will have to find out i kept my big grookeys just in case they do that.

You have until 9pm to learn frenzy plant by evolving into Rillaboom or by catching Rillaboom from the paid research you will have a second chance to learn the move in december this year after 5pm you can only catch grookey in the wild if a lure module is put on a pokestop they will only spawn around pokestops until 9pm.
You can get free timed research by checking in on campfire at a campfire meet up location check campfire if you have any near by locations.

I was surprised to see some Grookey in Dynamax spots. I must have managed it well enough to get four shiny Dynamax Grookey from 6 battles😊 The best was 14/12/13.
950 caught, 43 shinies – 5 of them have BG, 550k star dust – includes 12x 10km eggs with star piece and 3x 12km eggs no star piece. 1.15M xp. That's all I guess, very nice com day! For context, I played for 3.5 hours. Oh and I did (ONE) 5 star raid and got shiny thundurus. I caught a shiny monkey with incense that was red coloured, (forgot the name). That's all.

It would be appreciated if you guys who have a line in to Niantic can speak up about the Helioptile infestations that some coastal communities have been experiencing since July. My community is dead, no one is playing any more as 80 – 90% of spawns are Helioptiles during non event periods, and around 40 – 50% during events.
We have requested for supports help but have either been gaslit or told to play somewhere else. Please help us revive our communities.
