A simple solution for this would have been to have the leaders each have one of these for just this weekend. After this weekend, they could switch to the Mawhile, Hoppip, and Magikarp. That’d’ve put people at having to battle (at least) eighteen grunts, but you’d be a lot more guaranteed to complete the Collection Challenge. Or, since you can also buy radars in the store, I guarantee they’d have raked in some cash from people who were trying to complete this.
As is, this is disappointing.
I caught Chespin and Fenniken on the first day and haven’t seen either one since. Though I have fought the grass grunt twice more and got a Phantump and a Cacnea 🙃
