This paid event research is a scam even costs more than com day ticket as well.
The catch rate on galar birds is the lowest in the game 1% chance even when they are shiny not guaranteed catch if going to fast like in a car,ect they can run before you run out of balls as well due to going to fast.
Fidough has same shiny rate in the wild/research as eggs i got two shiny for it in the wild don't waste your time hatching eggs for it likely to get a future com day or research day as well for even better shiny rate.
How to get that small heart near the pokemon???
The paid research does not increase the shiny rate it gives you the same shiny rate as the free research tasks,

My Poke plus+ caught a Galarian Zapdos for me last week, and its 15/15/12, I couldn't believe it o (I guess I lost many other Galarian before, because I use to have walks on daily inciense without looking at the screen)
You should try a challenge where you try to win a go battle league purely based on sounds, so you dont look at your screen (if its possible and pokemons have different sounds)
