So, Im trying to do the mystic challenge where I have to evolve a Magikarp, and I want to evolve the best one I can get. I just got a shadow Magikarp from beating a Team Rocket Leader, and its Attack and Defense is pretty good, but its health sucks. Would purifying it change those stats are is it locked at what it is? And if they're locked, then should I still purify the Magikarp, is it worth it, what does it do? Any advice would be appreciated, thx
