7 Shinies in 188 Wild Sightings: Statistical Anomaly on a Level 4 Locked Documentation Account

Hi everyone,

I’m sharing a project called "Verschlungen" (Devoured), which follows a very strict and unique ruleset for documenting the Pokémon world.

The Level 4 "Frozen" State:
I leveled the account to Level 4 specifically to unlock the Daily Adventure Incense (the only way to encounter Galarian Birds). This is my "Endgame" state—the account is now frozen, and I avoid all XP gain to stay at Level 4.

The Challenge Rules:

Active Sightings Only:
A "Shadow" only counts if I encounter the Pokémon myself in the wild. I strictly avoid clicking on Gyms or other players' Pokémon. If I didn't find it in the wild, it doesn't count.

The 664 Goal:
My target is to document 664 species entirely through my own wild encounters—no external help, no lures (except personal incense), just pure exploration.

No Catching:
I am a pure observer. The Pokémon remain in the wild after I document them.
Minimal Footprint: Only 5 PokéStop interactions total so far.

Current Statistics & The Shiny Anomaly:
In just 188 active wild sightings, I have encountered 7 Shiny anomalies. This is a rate of roughly 1 : 27, which is mathematically insane compared to the standard 1 : 512.

The Shiny Log (Clean & Verified):

Goldeen: 1st sighting

Pidove: 2nd sighting

Galarian Zigzagoon: 9th sighting

Glameow: 19th sighting

Lickitung: 4th sighting

Goldeen (Duplicate): 22nd sighting

Rattata: 7th sighting

I’m doing this to challenge the standard "catch 'em all" gameplay and to see how the RNG behaves on a strictly restricted, low-level account.
