(Repost because it appeared something went wrong in the first stance)
Hi fellow trainers! I'm back with a Fakemon which I had in mind for quite a long time; I could finally find time and inspiration to get it drawn.
I wanted to make a Normal-type pseudo legendary family whose final stage could be somehow viable, despite the disadvantage posed by the type itself. Given the "rules" of pseudos, it is a three-stage evolution line ending up in a badass 600 BST 'mon.
Inspiration
I took the mythical chimera and made a hybrid of lion, bull, gorilla and snake; this last detail became the tail for each of the stages and gave the name of the species for the first two ("Fake Snake Pokémon"). Respectively, the tails of each stage mimic Ekans, Sandaconda and Mega Steelix.
I wanted to mirror the Slakoth line, since it results in a powerful Normal-type Pokémon, but reversing the Ability of the stages: the infamous Truant goes to the middle stage, while the base stage and the final got usable Abilities.
At last, much like Pupitar and Shelgon, the middle stage is cocoon-like.
Names
Minimera: mini + chimera
Coonimera: cocoon + chimera
Taurimera: taurus (Latin for bull) + chimera
Evolution method
Minimera evolves into Coonimera starting at level 30, which in turns can evolve into Taurimera from level 55.
What's new
Upon evolving, Taurimera can learn the mighty Monster Maul: a Normal-type 120 BP physical move that always hits for neutral damage, ignoring the opponent's typing. This makes it as spammable as possible, and it is well paired with the hidden ability Gorilla Tactics, which made Galarian Darmanitan a real threat back in the days of Sword and Shield.
Hope you like them!
