A bit of a nothingburger… If one wants to clean out one’s box why would one use a search string with a filter about the catch location at all? It shouldn’t matter whether it’s from a research or a raid, you’d probably rather filter to exclude or include specific properties you want to keep or discard (legendary, shadow, xxl and so on)

As others mentioned this is not a bug, just missing data. I noticed a different issue with search strings, using @frustration while having the Show Evolution Line checked gives 0 results. This probably applies to all move searches. I've also noticed some weirdness with megaevolve paired with Show Evolution Line. Not sure if these are bugs or just edge cases handled in a funny way.
Nobody talking about the open while in background glitch??? I will swipe out of pogo, check maps or some other phone app, and come back to pogo to find it is still registering my inputs on screen!!! Could accidentally transfer or delete something.
I just use a tag called trash for any legendary I'm gonna transfer that way I can save them for a 2x transfer candy spotlight hour

First world problems
Am i the only one wondering what his buddy pokemon is? I seriously dont remember seeing it and have no clue what it is lol
"raid", "research", "rocket", "snapshot" all only extends back to Oct 28 2020. "party" only extends back to Nov 1 2023. "hatched" only extends back to around July 17 2017. This has been documented for years.
I trade/transfer based on what pokemon they are not where i got them from.
Is it possible the glitch is when your buddy throws the ball back after the pokemon your attempting to catch returns the pokeball?

!traded does work either, im not sure why, I have to use tags for it to work
Including "&!background" in the search string can be glitchy as well. Maybe I'm doing it wrong, but I still end up with background pokemon in the results. At least you get the warning for those before transferring.
I think you can just tell if it's from raid or not by checking if caught using raid ball

I don't remember having these search strings in the past. Just learned of these exact words now that I started playing again. Maybe they didn't exist then.
Friends List is also busted when you search of filter it.
You need to type it 2-3 times before it loads correctly now.

Yes, there's a bug also in upon filtering of shadow. If I use !shadow not all shadow hidden.
