Last year, I was planning to enjoy my December vacation when I received a last-minute message on December 16th. A client wanted a special artwork to give his girlfriend for Christmas on the 24th.
I hesitated at first, but it was easy to see how much he genuinely wanted to make her happy. He asked me to draw her favorite Pokémon, Alolan Vulpix.
I had to work faster than usual, skip a few steps, and fix things along the way (I redrew her hands a few times, haha), but I managed to finish everything on the morning of the 24th.
Seeing how happy he was with the final result made it all worth it.
