It amuses me so much how people make things expensive. Cosmetics are just that; they don't improve your Pokémon, they don't make it stronger, it shouldn't be a determining factor in its value, it's just an image.
Backgrounds are dumb as shit IMO. But to each their own

I think I pieced it together, like Sinnoh tour, in the last 30 minutes in where ho-oh, Lugia, Groudon, Kyorge, Dialga, and Palkia appear and raids and all the costume pikas from their respective characters region. Makes sense why their aren’t leaked hats for gen 3 and 4 pikas cause they have already been a thing. So there will probably be like 19 different pikas and Origin and primals in raids, the amount of raids that will be at the tour is going to be wild
The IVs for those backgrounds aren't even worth it

I think lowering the price would help… or implement the poke coins in the monthly pass more. Keep the same prices but implement the poke coins in the pass just a little more. They did it what? Once or twice? I think adding that would help it significantly. Plus, you’d keep people wanting to play more because it’s a reachable “goal” to earn coins
I'm a day one player. I really agree with this content in this video. It feels like it's on the decline to me asnwell, and the asking for money left and right is wearing me down.

The good thing is, I was never a fan of the lucky background. I prefered my hundo legendarys with vanilla background. So you can guess what I think from new backgrounds? Right, the professor loves them.
Hate to break it to you but shiny, costume and backgrounds are all the same with varying degrees of rarity. Which can be increased or decreased on a whim. They have no meta relevance. They're all just for looks.
Tried to be excited about backgrounds, but they're just another useless rng. Something to milk the spenders who apparently think the only thing that makes a game good is how much it's monitized.
Seriously, show me a spender that doesn't think the best thing about the game is the increased spending options.

Not only are the backgrounds worthless on their own, but you can't even sit there and look at it because it keeps phasing between the special background and the normal one. They're nice to get, but if I wasn't paying the $0.99 before backgrounds, then what makes them think I'm going to pay $1.99 after? Especially when there's already enough chances to get a crappy pokemon with the background for free.
It is a pretty Meh feature for me. Only the first time you get it or when you do the trade, you will notice the existence of background. 😅
would care more about backgrounds if you could use them as you background if you own an pokemon with it on your account.
They probably reserved Mega Mewtwo for later seasons… They cannot put too much into one season… since in that case there will be nothing to do in the following seasons, because, you know, the race is long…

for veterans its kinda impossible to sth exciting. As someone who came back in october im super hyped for groudon/kyogre/rayquazza/ and the forms of palkia / dialga cause i dont have those at all and theyre crucial. Also missing Zacian/Zamazenta/eternatus. So basically anything will make me hyped.
Game will become more Pay2Win but ofc there is solution for that, open second account and do double raids when you get a background use lucky trinket to trade and thats how you solve their problem charging more for less content or just move to another game.. i used to love raiding but now to get a good stuff you have to get correct move, a background and shiny and also good IV.. i mean cmon
I played a game scopely bought. It went from being free to play friendly to spending £300 to play events. They only care about “whales” playing and spending.

7:47 honestly if Scopely would get rid of the remote raid limits and allow us to up say 10-15 RRP in our bag, and sell RRP bundles with more than 2-3 passes, I’d appreciate that, granted I’m biased because im spend to win

Purify removed Frustration Shadow Pokemon SHOULD NOT GET PURIFIED POKEMON WITH RETURN AS CHARGE MOVE!!!!!
This cause players must use two Charge TMs! One Charge TM to remove Frustration then after purified it, second Charge TM to remove Return!!!!!

I really don't give a s**t about backgrounds, but location cards I do. Shiny + Location card = W. Additionally, non legendaries. For example Shiny Safari Eevee with Seoul location card, Shiny Pikachu Swimsuit with Hawaii location card etc. But backgrounds? Uh, nah
