The struggle continues on, anybody else struggling to get enough evolution candies like me?

This is more of me just venting as I know certain statements might get people giving you the blues about how bad or inconsistent you are lol. But aside from setting these Pokemon as your buddy, this is just mildly frustrating for me to gather enough candy and I'm hoping I'm not alone in my frustration.
