Pokemon

Told my kids I would draw them as pokemon trainers for them to color

their choices were… interesting.

pick a starter: daughter picked mew (what should be considered an impossible to obtain starter) and my son picked Abra (a pokemon that should be considered impossible to train since it only knows teleport, unless you can catch another pokemon because exp share or swapping in battle (depending on game and how old you are). keep in mind there are 3 starters on these 2 teams.

my daughter threw fearow at me (I promised a picture of their pokemon evolved, hence spearow) which I guess is only weird if you knew she doesn't bring it up except the pidgeot episode, which I guess we watched not that long ago.

this is partially younger brother (4) following older sister (5) but they both picked staryu… but there are SO many other Pokémon they talk about. if you can't tell, those pokemon are typically gen 1.. cuz you know.. let's start at the very beginning. a very good place to start.

my daughter wanted her character to wear heels. I'd say, "what about all the walking you would have to do?" she said, "well I'll just take the bus." I said, "well how would you catch wild pokemon?" she said, "well I'll just stick my head out the widow and throw my pokeballs." i said "well you'd have to walk back to get them." (back to the heels). she said, "well I'll just figure out a way for them to come back to me." so I just gave her a fishing pole… which again my son had to have too lol. when I asked what kind of ball on her fishing line she told me master so she

definitely catches them. my son told me he wanted to be ash. I said, "oh you want ash's clothes?" he says, "no, I'm ash." lol

this was a fun project to get me back into drawing. took like 3 days but I'm pleased with the results
