It's interesting that they seemingly "localized" the character designs for each region.
Also, all three had the same "Carlo" Mii.

Hugh Morris was banned from the UK because he didn’t pay his Window Tax or TV License.
So weird.
Even the anouncers are different. I watched the UK stream and then watched the American stream, they had different announcer and miis but the event matched each other.
It is always a pleasant surprise when they localise in English separately for us UK and other Europeans rather than having everything Americanised all the time.
Mocha and Carlos span the multiverse
Bro the Japanese just got the old man. Of course Hugh Morris is the GOAT and Bubbles at least understands the Vibes, fucking Gramps over here doesnt fit at all
It was really interesting cause my friend watched the UK version and I watched the American one because it was the first to come up on Youtube and she was very confused at why I kept going on about Hugh Morris
The Australian Nintendo news site Vooks also seemed to watch the Hugh Morris one
The dialogue and synthesised voices are different between the european and US versions, which is nice attention to detail for a game like this – so it makes sense to use the version of the game that matches the region the video is posted for. I wonder if the regional differences are one of the reasons why you can’t share characters and stuff online
The localization team needs a raise, Im sure it has taken a long while to do it
