not digital yet, but sketched out a few regional forms for the palacha region
palachan ludicolo ( grass / dark ) – based on english ivy, trolls, and bandits. hides to ambush unsuspecting travelers by bombarding them with impossible riddles, confounding them and leaving them to wander lost.
palachan shiftry ( grass / flying ) – based on maple seeds / leaves, genies, and jack frost. emerges from the head of a palachan nuzleaf in the autumn, controlling brisk wind that chills the trees.
palachan donphan ( ground / water ) – based on firefighters and dalmatians. trained to work with firefighters, this variant of donphan is speckled with soot. it uses its trunk to blast massive amounts of water and its blunt tusks to break down doors and walls.
palachan magikarp and magiking ( water ) – a magikarp that thrives in polluted waters. pollution stunts its ability to evolve into gyarados. exposure to the artificially created and ludicrously expensive superb stone evolves it into magiking
