4. Mass Effect Trilogy (I wish 3s multiplayer mode was still a thing).

6. Dragon Quest 9 remaster (given that 7 will have just come out, not gonna happen but I can dream)

8. Baulder’s Gate 3 (if this were my wife’s list, this would be the entire list)
9. Need for Speed. Haven’t played in forever, heard franchise was on hard times. But if there’s a game with a multiplayer free roam…

I feel like we are really due for a big direct. So far, my favorite thing about having bought the Switch 2 was getting to finally play Fire Emblem Path of Radiance. I really hope they have more 1st party titles coming soon.

Great! Third party Nintendo exclusives deserve 10+ times the attention and promotion that 1st party games get. Switch 2 should be where we’re playing the next Mario & Zelda, sure, but also that next third party masterpiece and indie gem, too. Move the game consumers away from buying the most expensive (and now AI- and NFT pushing-) platforms and PC parts.

For once I’m actually kind of looking forward to a partner showcase, I just started getting into Final Fantasy games and if rumors are true, native Kingdom Hearts ports and Final Fantasy XVI will be announced…… god help me if they also announce FFVIII, I literally just got the steam ports of those last night since I have 1-12 ( minus 11 ) on Switch.

Maybe April & Sept will be the main months for 1P directs for Switch 2, just like Feb, June, & Sept were for Switch 1. Kinda makes sense to have 1 less main direct per year as they’re doing more one-off announcements on the Nintendo Today app
